The project converted 13 vacant lots along a ten-block stretch in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood into seven new buildings. The sites were developed in conjunction with NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) to provide a total of 78 affordable homes to first time buyers. The first building to be completed features an exterior breezeway that serves as the building entrance and connects all residents to a shared garden in the rear. Generous windows provide each of the eight new residences with abundant daylight and views. All of the apartments are accessible / adaptable.
